These vessels are made in response to a specific sense of site and place. The ceramic processes include extruding clay through metal dies then assembling cutup clay components. Thrown pots also feature, deconstructing the vessels, reconstructing and applying dry and shiny glazes. The combined concepts and processes celebrate and respond to the materiality of clay / glaze and a focus on research-based practice.
