Sitting and Looking is an exhibition inviting you to sit down and take a longer, closer look at work from a group of designers, fine artists and craftspeople, all of them artists who think with their hands as well as their heads. We think this grouping presents more than the sum of its parts, but the main thing for us is the strength of the objects and their ability to communicate. This urge to make things that communicate is at the heart of what it means to be human.
