Wood is artist/maker Eleanor Glover primary material, but others are used to reinforce ideas expressed. Narrative elements and metaphor develop through the process of making, and influences are drawn from her own experiences, observations of life around her, poetry and literature. She has taught extensively as a senior lecturer in graphic design and textiles at degree level and as a visiting tutor to adult learners. Latterly she has worked therapeutically in a community context with adults and children: in prisons, hospices, psychiatric units, hospitals, surgeries, and care homes. She has developed the use of Book Arts and Shadow Theatre as vehicles to stimulate narrative and capture personal stories.

Coed yw prif ddefnydd yr artist/gwneuthurwr Eleanor Glover ond mae defnyddiau eraill yn cael eu defnyddio er mwyn cadarnhau’r syniadau a fynegir. Mae elfennau naratif a throsiadol yn datblygu drwy’r broses o greu a chaiff dylanwadau eu tynnu o’i phrofiadau ei hun a’i arsylwadau o fywyd o’i chwmpas, o farddoniaeth ac o lenyddiaeth. Mae hi wedi addysgu yn eang fel darlithydd hŷn mewn dylunio graffig a thecstilau ar lefel gradd ac fel tiwtor gwadd i ddysgwyr hŷn. Yn ddiweddar mae wedi ymgymryd â gwaith therapiwtig mewn cyd-destun cymunedol gydag oedolion a phlant: mewn carchardai, hosbisau, unedau seiciatrig, ysbytai, meddygfeydd, a chartrefi gofal. Mae hi wedi datblygu’r defnydd o Gelfyddyd Lyfrau a Theatr Gysgodion fel cerbydau i symbylu naratif a dal straeon personol.
