Sculpture to Wear is the first major exhibition in the UK of the work of the exceptional American jewellery artist Marjorie Schick. It is rare overview of this important artist’s boundary-crossing work from the late 1960s to the present, and will include several pieces made especially. Schick has been a pioneering force in international contemporary jewellery for many decades. Her work was first seen in the UK in 1982. It had strong resonances for those working at the cutting edge of jewellery in Europe where, although it sprang independently from quite different roots, it exactly encapsulated the spirit of the moment.

Arolwg prin ydyw o waith o’r 60au gan artist nodedig sydd wedi llwyddo i groesi ffiniau o’r cyfnod hwnnw tan heddiw a bydd yn cynnwys nifer o ddarnau a wnaed yn arbennig. Y mae hi wedi bod yn ffigwr arloesol mewn gemwaith ryngwladol cyfoes dros y degawdau. Gwelwyd ei gwaith am y tro cyntaf yn y DU yn 1982.
