For the past two years the Paul Hamlyn Foundation has funded Ruthin Craft Centre’s What is Craft? project. The project looked at many aspects of Craft examining different ideas and approaches to making through Materials, Decoration, Process and Function. This engaged our audience in a creative dialogue.

This exhibition, of the work of over fifty applied artists, continues the conversation of what it is to MAKE.

Am y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf mae’r Paul Hamlyn Foundation wedi ariannu prosiect Beth yw Crefft? Canolfan Grefft Rhuthun. Roedd y prosiect yn edrych ar lawer o agweddau ar Grefft gan archwilio gwahanol syniadau a dulliau o ran gwneud drwy Ddeunydd, Addurn, Proses a Pwrpas. Llwyddodd hyn i ymglymu ein cynulleidfa mewn deialog greadigol.

Mae’r arddangosfa hon, o waith dros hanner cant o artistiaid cymhwysol, yn parhau’r sgwrs ynglyn â’r hyn y mae Gwneud yn ei olygu.
