In this workshop we will decorate and glaze a stoneware ceramic brooch and necklace taking inspiration from the Jewellery Now exhibition.

In the first part we will make drawings from the jewellery in the exhibition and then rearrange and collage these to make ideas for the jewellery designs. In the second part we will use ceramic surface decoration techniques and glazing to create the jewellery. The ceramic pieces will be fired after the workshop and can then be collected from the Craft Centre or posted.

The pieces will take one / two weeks to fire and return.

Yn y gweithdy hwn, byddwn yn addurno ac yn gwydro broetsh a mwclis ceramig o grochenwaith caled gan gymryd ysbrydoliaeth o’r arddangosfa Gemwaith yn Awr.

Yn y rhan gyntaf, byddwn yn gwneud lluniadau o’r gemwaith yn yr arddangosfa ac yna’n eu haildrefnu a’u gwneud mewn collage i greu syniadau ar gyfer y dyluniadau gemwaith. Yn yr ail ran, byddwn yn defnyddio technegau addurno arwynebau ceramig a gwydro i greu’r gemwaith. Bydd y darnau ceramig yn cael eu tanio ar ôl y gweithdy ac yna gellir eu casglu o’r Ganolfan Grefftau neu eu postio.

Bydd y sioe yn cael eu tanio ar ôl y gellir eu casglu o’r Ganolfan Grefftau neu eu postio.
