Make a willow sitting hare or a cute pig or piglet for your garden or home. These are fairly large sculptures and the course can be quite full on, but rewarding.

You will be guided by Juliette through the day with additional help of written instructions and step by step demonstrations. The course is suitable for beginners or improvers. The technique used is mainly random weave and will enable you to take your willow sculpture journey further if you wish to do so, or just enjoy a rewarding day making something unique.

During the day we will talk about where to source the willow and how to prepare it and keep it in a useable condition, also how to treat your sculptures to make them last as long as possible.

All materials will be provided, but you might like to bring a pair of secateurs and an apron to protect your clothes.

Bydd Juliette yn eich tywys drwy’r diwrnod gyda chymorth ychwanegol cyfarwyddiadau ysgrifenedig ac arddangosiadau fesul cam. Mae’r cwrs yn addas ar gyfer dechreuwyr a rheiny sydd yn awyddus i wella’u crefft. Defnyddir techneg gwead ar hap yn bennaf. Bydd hyn, os ydych chi’n dymuno gwneud hynny, yn eich galluogi i fynd â’ch cerflun helyg gam ymhellach neu mwynhewch ddiwrnod hwyliog yn creu rhywbeth unigryw.

Yn ystod y diwrnod byddwn yn trafod ble i ddod o hyd i’r pren helyg, ei baratoi a’i gadw mewn cyflwr i’w ddefnyddio a hefyd sut i drin eich cerfluniau er mwyn iddyn nhw barhau cyn hired â phosibl.
